Tokujo Karigane is a tea made from only the young stems, not the leaves. Especially this tea is made only from gyokuro stalks and is also called Gyokuro Karigane. As fresh as it looks, it has a youthful aroma similar to fresh leaves, a sweet taste of gyokuro, and a slightly thick texture.
Storage method and precautions
Take it out of the refrigerator the day before and allow the tea leaves to return to room temperature before cutting the seal. Also, avoid storing in direct sunlight, high temperature and humidity.
