In the finishing process of gyokuro and sencha, the stalks collected are called karigane (stem tea).
It is less astringent, has a unique soft taste of stem tea, and is refreshing when it goes down the throat.

    Take it out of the refrigerator the day before and allow the tea leaves to return to room temperature before cutting the seal. Also, avoid storing in direct sunlight, high temperature and humidity.
